Supplements like vitamin E, fish oil, ginkgo biloba, and garlic pills should also be avoided.


Avoid Aggressive Skin Treatments: Postpone chemical peels, laser treatments, and microdermabrasion to minimise skin irritation around the treatment area.


2. One Week Before Treatment:


Minimise Alcohol Consumption: Alcohol can thin your blood, increasing the chance of bruising and swelling post-treatment.

Seek Emergency Medical Attention Immediately:


If you experience symptoms such as difficulty swallowing, speaking, breathing, severe rash, facial swelling, or other serious reactions, seek medical help without delay.


For signs of infection, such as red, shiny skin, pus formation, fever, or feeling generally unwell, contact your practitioner urgently. 


 • Manage Common Side Effects: Mild redness, swelling, or bruising may occur and usually resolves within a few days. Use paracetamol for headaches if needed.


 • Avoid Touching or Rubbing the Treated Area: For at least 4 hours post-treatment to prevent product migration and infection.


 • Stay Upright: Remain in an upright position for 4 hours after treatment to avoid product spreading to unintended areas.


 • No Heat or Extremes of Temperature: Avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and intense exercise for 24 hours.


 • No Alcohol: Abstain from alcohol for at least 24 hours as it may increase blood flow and affect results.


 • No Makeup: Refrain from applying makeup to the treated area for 24 hours to reduce the risk of infection.


 • Avoid Pressure: Do not lay flat, face down, or apply pressure to the treated area for 24 hours.
